Inu Yasha and his full demon, half brother Lord Sesshoumaru battle each other in this installment of the Inu Yasha TV series. There is no love lost between these two siblings and it is very obvious to everyone involved.

Meanwhile there is a princess in peril - can Inu Yasha and Kagome help her?

And lastly the Thunder Brothers come onto the scene, looking for blood, and we meet Shippou the small fox demon for the first time!

[edit] Episode 7: Showdown! Inu Yasha Versus Sesshoumaru!

Kagome, a human, is the only one capable of retrieving the Tetsusaiga from its spellbound slumber. Inuyasha, who can weild the Tetsuiga, since he is a half-demon, uses his father's fang to go up against his elder brother, Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru, however, being a full demon, cannot weild the Tetsuigai, or even pick it up. Sesshoumaru is perturbed that a filthy human could hold any sway over the great sword, transforms into his full demon state. A giant poisonous demon dog! He attacks and it is up to Inu Yasha to keep Kagome safe.

[edit] Episode 8: The Toad Who Would Be Prince

Inu Yasha and Kagome finally set off in order to start collecting Jewel Shards. The come across a samurai that tells them of a Prince that has been possessed by a toad demon and the two go off to investigate.

[edit] Episode 9: The Thunder Brothers

Inu Yasha and Kagome come across a small kitsune, or fox demon, named Shippo. Shippo intends to steal the shards of the Jewel that they have, in order to keep himself safe from the Thunder Brothers, Hiten and Manten, who have just murdered Shippo’s father. Shippo, lacking courage, eventually receives help from Kagome and Inuyasha to take on the Thunder Brothers. But will Inuyasha be able to handle the raw power of thunder?
