InuYasha and his friends somehow end up in a trap that forces them to live out their greatest fears. After, they encounter a village where the men keep mysteriously disappearing in the snow covered mountains. And if that wasn't enough, the Band of Seven appears, and they look like trouble.

[edit] Episode 100: Nightmare Reality: Battle in the Forest of Grief
A moth demon puts everyone but Inu Yasha into a special web that makes them live out their worst fears. Miroku is afraid his wind tunnel will bring harm to himself and everyone around him. Shippo is afraid of the return of the Thunder Brothers. Sango fears killing her brother Kohaku. Kagome's is of course, Math, her worst subject in school. Will Inu Yasha, the only one not trapped be able to slay the demon and free his friends?

Miroku is day dreaming, remembering when he was a young boy how he was once caught in a snow-storm and he thought he'd die, but a woman came out of nowhere and saved him. He snaps out of it thanks to Sango. When the gang receives word of a snow-storm coming, they all seek shelter, but Sango and Miroku are left in the blizzard. Sango sees a woman coming to Miroku, and taking him away, but can't stop her. The rest of the gang tails them and sees that Miroku is caught in an illusion, but he is none the wiser.

Ayame notices a strange occurence. Hundreds of demons along with her wolves are fleeing, but she can't seem to figure out why. A few fellow wolf demons come to the village she is in and tell her about the happening that is going on through-out the region. Ayame must help the injured elder, as well as her injured comrades flee while she awaits the arrival of someone strong enough to defeat this power.
