The new moon comes and Kagome discovers that Inu Yasha has turned into a human! And to make matters worse they must face a giantic spider demon, with their best fighter in a human form!! Inu Yasha takes the demon on anyways, but can he defeat him in his weak state?
Also back in Kaede's village, a witch named Urasue has defiled Kikyo's grave and stolen her ashes. What does she intend to do with the dead priestess' ashes?

[edit] Episode 13: The New Moon and Black Haired Inu Yasha
Kagome, Inu Yasha, and Shippo rescue a girl who says her home has been set upon by spider demons. The group decides to check it out, but why does Inu Yasha looks so worried? Maybe because he is only a half-demon, which means every new moon he turns into his human form.
[edit] Episode 14: Kikyo’s Stolen Ashes
Kikyo, the priestess that was entrusted with the Sacred Jewel 50 years ago, and died while protecting it, is buried in the village of the Priestess Kaede, who also happens to be Kikyo’s younger sister. An old demon woman named Urasue steals Kikyo’s ashes and Kaede asks Inu Yasha for his help in retrieving the ashes.

Kagome is kidnapped by Urasue, whom has stolen Kikyo’s Ashes. The hag has realized that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo and intends to suck Kagome’s soul right out of her and give it to the Kikyo Clay Doll she has created!
