Naraku has disappeared, so Inu Yasha and Kagome retreat back to her time for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Later Kouga meets up with a young female wolf demon named Ayame that tells him that he made a promise to marry her one night under a lunar rainbow. But Kouga cannot remember his promise and cannot remember her. Did he really pledge his hand to her?

A female wolf demon named Ayame appears claiming to be Koga's fiance. Koga refuses knowing her, let alone promising to marry her. Soon Ayame comes face to face with the woman Koga intends to marry, Kagome.

The hair demon is still on the loose and after Koga and Kagome's jewel shards. They realize that the hair demon is another cast off part of Naraku. But will Ayame let Koga out of her sight long enough to track Naraku down?
