Shippou befriends a young girl that lives in a village day after day awaiting her brother to return from war. She claims to have a shard of the Shikkon Jewel and that one day it will lead her brother back to her. Shippou knows he has to tell the others about the jewel shard, but he doesn’t want to take away the girls good luck charm and hope of her brother returning!

When InuYasha and his friends find a village of women, complaining how all the men of the village were lured away by a beautiful woman in the woods, Miroku decides to investigate. Sango, however, is not content to sit and wait for his return, and tags along.

Sango must repair her weapon, so she returns to the Slayer’s Village. In the meantime the rest of the friends stumble across a tree growing human faced fruit! They realize this unnatural fruit could only come from a demon tree.
