Plot Summary

Naraku has sent Kagura, Kanna, and Goshinki after Inu Yasha. Goshinki, being able to read Inu Yasha's mind, catches the Tetsusaiga in his teeth, and breaks the blade in half! Can it be fixed?

And what about this new sword, the Tokijin. It's evil aura is so intense it consumed the swordmaker's soul!

Episode 43: Tetsusaiga Breaks!

Locked in fierce battle with another of Naraku’s puppet demons, this time a telepathic large demon named Goshinki, InuYasha’s Tetsusaiga becomes lodged in his teeth and breaks!

Episode 44: Kaijinbo’s Evil Sword

InuYasha journeys to have tetsisaiga repaired, but in the meantime, Sesshoumaru has taken Goshinki’s head to Kaijinbo, the evil sword maker. Kaijinbo forges the sword from the fangs of Goshinki, and Goshinki’s bloodlust for InuYasha possesses the weakwilled Kaijinbo. He takes the Tokijin to where InuYasha is to kill him.

Episode 45: Sesshoumaru Wields Tokijin

Kaijinbo is unable to control the demonic powers in Tokijin, and it defeats him. Sesshoumaru arrives to take possession of the sword he had asked for. He attacks InuYasha with the Tokijin, and knocks the Tetsusaiga out of his grasp. The longer InuYasha is separated from the Tetsusaiga the more his demonic poweras grow, and he begins to transform!
