Sango and Miroku are still deep inside Mt. Hakurei when they find the remains of the revered monk Saint Hakushin. They are baffled as to why this man who was thought of as a saint when he was alive is now helpling out Naraku. Meanwhile, Inu Yasha gets tired of waiting and so he enters the barrier to go and find his friends, but because nothing non-human can enter, he is turned into his human form. Renkotsu comes back out looking for a fight, but how will Inu Yasha defeat him in his human form?

Episode 118: Into the Depths of Mt. Hakurei
Tired of waiting, Inu Yasha enters the barrier. However, this turns him into his human form. Jakotsu and Renkotsu appear and are looking for a good fight, but with Inu Yasha in his human form, he might not last too long. After Miroku and Sango got to the top of Mt. Hakurei, Kagura and loads of Yokai started an attack against them, catching them off guard.
Episode 119: Divine Malice of the Saint
Sango and Miroku find a hidden temple with Saint Hakushin inside, upholding the barrier. They find out that he is knowledgeable of Naraku's intentions, but remains holding it up. Sango and Miroku need to strike him down, or else Inu Yasha will remain in human form during his fight, which could spell trouble.
Episode 120: Fare Thee Well: Jakotsu's Requiem
With the barrier no longer up, Inu Yasha regains his powers and is ready to come at Jakotsu at full strength. Now that he is stronger, Jakotsu is the one with the disadvantage during the fight.
